Jazz, blues, distinctive vocals, beautiful Slovak lyrics penned by Milan Lasica, Daniel Hevier and Ján Strasser, and top jazz musicians. The most prominent figure on the Slovak jazz scene, Peter Lipa, will perform with his band again at Trenčín Airport after six years.

Throughout his singing career, he has always surrounded himself with outstanding musicians who have helped him achieve a European reputation as a jazz vocalist. As early as the 1980s, he regularly ranked among the top five in Jazz Forum magazine’s list of the best European jazz singers. His first recordings were made in the 1980s with the Blues Band, and in 1983 he released his first solo album, Neúprosné ráno (Relentless Morning). Today, he has over 20 albums to his credit.
